Our instructors have the knowledge and skills to teach you the right techniques and execution, as well as the rules of the game and the most effective strategies to be at your best. We believe your safety comes first, so you can rest assured all our instructors take care to use top-grade equipment and show you how to use it correctly. As members of professional organizations, we maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety and techniques in various activities.
If you don't have a traditional compass, one will be provided for the course of the same fully functional design used by the instructor.
We highly discourage the use of GPS devices for the purposes of this course. Not only does this rely on battery power, but it requires continual attention on the screen of your device instead of the terrain you are exploring.
Instead, navigating by compass and map requires you to focus on your surroundings, which brings you closer to this beautiful land!
