Equipment Provided

If you don't have a traditional compass, one will be provided for the course of the same fully functional design used by the instructor.

We highly discourage the use of GPS devices for the purposes of this course. Not only does this rely on battery power, but it requires continual attention on the screen of your device instead of the terrain you are exploring.

Instead, navigating by compass and map requires you to focus on your surroundings, which brings you closer to this beautiful land!
